Cluster of trucks famous for shrimp. Giovanni's is the OG garlic shrimp (expect a line). Fumi's is less touristy and just as good.

Walking distance from the condo. Protected cove = calm water for swimming. Super clean, not crowded. Best for easy beach days without driving.

Short walk from Turtle Bay. Fair beach at low tide, but the real draw is the flat trails for easy walking. Can walk to the stables and pet horses. Cool pillboxes at the point.
π Turtle Bay Β· 5 min walk or 2 min drive east
Local spot β you won't see many tourists here. Incredible for sunset or lounging. Can have big shore break. Park on the makai (ocean) side of the road and walk through the gated community.
π Sunset Beach area Β· 8 min west
One of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii. Famous cliff jumping (when calm β rare in winter). Winter surf can be huge β incredible to watch. Get there early β parking fills fast.
π Waimea Β· 15 min west
High chance of seeing sea turtles on the sand. Great for photos. Keep 10ft distance (it's the law). Worth a quick stop.
π Between Waimea & Haleiwa Β· 20 min west
World-famous surf spot. In winter you'll see pros riding insane waves. Amazing to watch. Don't swim when waves are up.

Another legendary surf break. Wide sandy beach, great for watching the power of the ocean in winter.

The stretch from Haleiwa to Turtle Bay β arguably the best beaches in the world. Pipeline, Sunset, Rocky Point, and more.

Winter = peak surf season. Head to Pipeline, Sunset Beach, or Waimea when swell is up. Watching 20-40ft waves is unforgettable, even for non-surfers.

Botanical garden with a 45ft waterfall you can swim in. Easy paved walk through lush gardens with cultural sites along the way.

Short hike (~1 mile round trip) with epic views of Pipeline and the North Shore coastline. Not too strenuous.

Traffic on Kam Highway can be brutal, especially weekends heading back toward Honolulu
